AllIsBlue attacks Belgacom and Rossel

The Belgian company AllIsBlue is threatening to file complaint against the managing directors of Belgacom (Didier Bellens), Proximus (Michel Georgis) and Rossel (Bernard Marchant). AllIsBlue claims these companies are using mobile services on which AllIsBlue has a patent. These services include the possibility to receive by mail more information about a product by sending a sms message to a shortcode, dubbed SMS-2-Mail. Proximus is using a similar service for their Go For Music service.

The patent however has been contested before. Back in 2006, MobileWeb.be has already opposed this SMS-2-Mail patent by AllIsBlue.
Several other parties, including Netsize, Pluk Company, Koninklijke KPN NV and Bartrack BV, have also submitted an opposition against the patent since then.
